Jessica D
Instructional Designer
An Instructional Designer with BaseCorp, Jessica obtained her teaching degree from Queen's University, specializing in English. She went on to complete her graduate degree, focussing on curriculum development. Jessica's awareness of audience has guided her instructional design work, where she aims to develop robust online courses that inspire deep learning.
Jessica's love for storytelling began when she was eight years old. She was scouring the aisles of her hometown library in Toronto, when an ominous looking cover caught her eye - it was Leroux's Phantom of the Opera. The book was likely misplaced in the children’s section, nonetheless, it sparked her lifelong passion for literature.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys baking and trying out new recipes. Eating copious amounts of dessert usually follows…if it’s homemade, it's healthier, right?
